HANDELSBANKEN MOVES IN AT ACKHURST BUSINESS PARK

9th January 2015

Whittle Jones Chartered Surveyors acting on behalf of Northern Trust have announced Handelsbanken as the most recent letting at their prestigious office scheme, Ackhurst Business Park, Chorley.

Founded in 1871, Handelsbanken is one of Sweden's leading banks with over 820 branches worldwide. In the UK the Bank has been undergoing an expansion programme and Handelsbanken Chorley is one of over 180 opened so far.

Handelsbanken commented “Once the decision to open Handelsbanken Chorley was made, it was vital that the Bank was able to secure a branch location which would be able to support its long term plans in the area. Having considered various options, Ackhurst Business Park was the stand out choice providing immediate, modern accommodation and ample car parking for our customers.

Having now moved into our new offices we are looking forward to building the Handelsbanken name within the local community and welcoming our new corporate and individual banking customers.”

Tom Clarke, Management Surveyor at Whittle Jones added “We are delighted that Handelsbanken chose Ackhurst Business Park as the location for their new Chorley branch and we are delighted to welcome them to the estate”.

Ackhurst Business Park provides a range of modern self-contained office accommodation from single suites of just 3 persons (250 sq ft) to ‘own front door’ pavilion style buildings up to 4,525 sq ft. Each building is finished to a high specification to meet the needs of the modern day occupier and provides a professional business environment and high quality corporate image.

Tom continued “Whether companies are looking for start-up premises or looking to expand in the area, Ackhurst Business Park provides the ideal solution and offers excellent motorway links to the wider region and good local amenities. The Park is in one of Chorley’s prime development areas, circa 1 mile from Chorley Town Centre and in the middle of the North West’s motorway network providing easy access throughout the region and nationally. The detached buildings are set within fully maintained landscaped grounds and benefit from ample parking and local amenities, including Tesco Extra Supermarket and Fieldfare pub.”
